Fulcrum is an outstanding experiential Learning Journey aimed at the Personal Development of 16 and 17-year old A-level students, or similar, who have shown leadership and team working skills both in their schools and in the community. Students who are are selected for participation by their Heads of School, come from the State Education system and, are from a variety of backgrounds and cultures.

During the nine-month programme students can substantially improve their leadership and team working skills.Their self-belief, personal respect and confidence grow continually throughout the programme.Students' ambitions and aspirations are raised and they take on an increased awareness of their personal responsibilities for themselves and others increasing their commitment as global citizens.

The Certificate of Personal Effectiveness (CoPE) level 3, underpins Fulcrum’s Learning Journey.CoPE is a Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) approved examination, equivalent to an A* AS level, accepted by UCAS as worth 70 points. All students must produce a CoPE portfolio which is recognised by many universities and of great interest to employers.
The Fulcrum Learning Journey is divided into eight parts.
