John Hunt, Chief Executive of Fulcrum Challenge.
Founder of Fulcrum: John left Marks and Spencer 10 years ago to travel. He has led many challenges and overseas private expeditions. His vision is to make Fulcrum the best leadership development programme for students in the country. He has built an excellent professional team around him and they all believe and are committed to the success of the programme. He believes in and is committed to the students who participate in Fulcrum. |

Barry Gater, Finance Manager: Barry retired as a senior manager with Barclays Bank after 35 years and became involved with Fulcrum over 5 years ago. His wide range of experience in management is put to use in supporting the students through their fundraising as well as managing the finances for the business and charity. Those skills are also used in leading some of the groups as they progress through their challenge. His interests include travel, golf and messing about with computers. |

John Colville, Research & Development Manager: John after reading agricultural science at Perth, West Australia spent over 40 years in various managerial roles covering some 20 counties. His experience spans agribusiness, environmental management in oil and gas exploration and production and civil engineering. Positions held includes being the General Manager of The Great Man-made River Project Libya, the worlds largest water resource / civil engineering project and the project director of a major oil-spill clear-up operation in Western Siberia. Over the last 7 years he has specialised in leadership development training and the development of performance management programmes. John has been working with Fulcrum since September 2001 and is responsible for strategy development, corporate governance and sustainability. |
